Our "Little" Jaylee

Jaylee is growing and changing every day. It's amazing to watch. Attached are a few fun pictures taken the last few days. Dave had a great time feeding Jaylee her solids last night (NOT!) Actually, he really doesn't care for it. She always creates a huge mess because when you put the food in her mouth - she blows... Yes, there is baby food everywhere - including on Dave.

Today I was fortunate enough to spend some time with one of my greatest friends - Mindy. We had a great time chatting and making bows and bracelets. Her little girl is 2 weeks younger than Jaylee and has been soothing herself by sucking on her toes. It was so cute to watch her. Betty even tried out Jaylee's toes. :) The funniest thing was when we got home Jaylee followed suit - She's sucking on her whole foot though instead of her toes... What a nut.

Fun times with the Extended Family

It's funny how many pictures I have of my brother Justin. I just can't get enough :) He is honestly super talented too! Tonight he started playing the guitar a song he'd just leared this morning! He is so amaizing with music, he can play almost any instrument and can even sing! Yes ladies, he is still single - I'm guessing not for long :)
Justin was playing a game with Carlee... She was trying to get the candy and Justin was trying to keep her out. It was quite silly to watch. Carlee was so proud of herself when she'd actually get a piece. :)

I was taking pictures of Heather all night. I always get goofy pictures of her because she's such a spaz. I got this one and thought it was way cute. I'm so lucky to be related to such good looking people :)
Justin was trying to be a goof so I had to post this picture. I finally got him in a true grin.
This is me with my most fantastic grandparents! I'm so lucky, I still have both sets of grandparents!
This is one of the action shots I took of the boys playing ping pong. Brian got frustrated after a few pictures seeing as the flash blinded him and caused him to loose a few points... oops, sorry :)

A few of my cousins playing world tour.

A few more cousins playing or watching ping pong.

We had so much fun just chatting and playing games!
Aren't these two so handsome??? They're my mom's brothers. Now you know where my brothers get their looks :)

This is a totally random picture but I had to put it in. Last night Jaylee started getting on her hands and knees and was rocking!!! YIKES! I'm guessing she'll be moble before the end of January.

Jaylee was so excited to be spending time with G&G Jackman!

Grandma and Grandpa even got Jaylee books for Christmas. My girls are so spoiled! They are truly lucky to have grandparents who love to spend time with them! In fact the girls didn't even want to come home tonight. They asked if they could spend the night with Grandma.

Grandma got all three girls a basket of books and their favorite treats to eat while they're reading. So far it's worked great! The girls can't get enough story time.
All of us congregated in the basement for the gift exchange.

I got Becca this custom hoodie complaments of Mindy's mother. I was so excied she loved it :)

This is one of the pages out of my most fantastic Christmas present from Brian! Aren't we so cute when we were little :)
This is the cover of my new photo album! I can't wait to show it off!

The past few days have been great fun when it comes to family get togethers. Last night we were able to go to the annual "Brough party". I love spending time with Dave's extended family! I have to admit, they're pretty amazing. I wish I would have pulled my camera out to take some pictures. Bummer! Next year for sure! Before the Brough party last night we visited my family and did our gift exchange. It was fun to spend some time with them. I honestly think I got the best gift ever! Let me start with the fact that when we do family gift exchanges all of us cross our fingers to have my brother Brian give to us. He always has the best, most thought out gifts of everyone. I was fortunate enough to be on the recieving end of his generosity this year. I honestly cried when I opened my gift! He had taken a week off work to start transferring old slide photos of when he and I were kids to digital so he could print them off and put them in a beautiful photo album! The pictures are hillarious and bring back SO many memories! Brian - you're the best! I will honestly remember this Christmas for the rest of my life!
The Brough party was fantastic as always. We spend an hour or so catching up and eating. Then the fun begins with the large white elephant exchange. Every year there are croud favorites- this year it was a heated ice scraper, a large baby bottle piggy bank, the annual silver deer candle holders and so on. It was so great to chat with family I hadn't seen for a long time. The kids love it too!
Today my family had a bit of an extended party as well. I got to see cousins I haven't seen for over 2 to 3 years! It was awesome! Of coarse we ate, played games and just chatted. What a thrill! Thanks so much everyone for letting me come and be a part of such an amazing gathering of people!
Needless to say, I'm totally exhausted... I guess I'd better go plan my lesson for church tomorrow before it gets too late :)
Love you everyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Thanks again Travis for the great photo! You did awesome!
Dave had an amazing Christmas this year. I LOVED his face in this picture. It makes my year just knowing he got something he loves!

The girls asked for PJ's for them and for their American Girl dolls. They look cute huh?

I took lots of pictures of Jaylee because she was SO cute this morning. I couldn't get over how smiley she was. It just warms my heart :)

Do you think she likes her doll??? :)

It's amazing how even a 6 month old can feel the excitement of Christmas!

Carlee was SO excited to get her own makeup. It was a gift from big sister Chloé.

Chlo LOVES getting things for her American Girl doll. She has been so awesome at taking care of her doll too. She's growing up SO fast!
This is a picture of our family room before it was torn apart this morning. Yes, we were all greatly spoiled this year!

Jaylee played the angel in the nativity production on Christmas eve. As cute as it looks to have her only in her diaper and wings - it was NOT planned that way. She blew out of 2 outfits! I never thought I'd have to bring 2 extra outfits for a 3 hour period of time... nice one... :)

This year we got my FIL a popcorn maker. He was pretty pumped. The kids can't wait to go to grandpa's to get some!
Grandma played lots of Christmas/primary songs for the Christmas Eve Festivities. The kids had a BLAST dancing around the front room singing songs they loved!

This is Jaylee showing off her new Christmas Jammies. She only wore them for about 20 minutes before she "left her mark". She did look dang cute!
Here are the rest of the cousins sporting their new PJ's from G&G Nelson. Cole was having some situations and didn't want to put his on. He just kept screaming "OOOWWW". SO CUTE! Becky and Matt say he says that when they don't want them to touch him. What a nut. He still looked amazingly cute!
Here are all the cousins (minus Jaylee) getting ready for the cousin gift exchange.

The girls each designed their own gingerbread house Christmas Eve. There weren't many candies left because dad ate the whole 4 pound bag!!! NASTY! :)

Uncle Bean took the girls tubing on Thursday after we helped grandma make some candy. They LOVED it! Thanks Bean and Hez.

I had to post this picture of Carlee. She looked AMAZING! What a cute snow bunny :)

The candy festivities begin!

This is going to mostly be a post of pictures. We've had so much fun this week and we appreciate our families for helping make it so wonderful! We'd like to wish everyone a most fantastic Christmas!

Oh the Weather outside is Frightful!

This is what the weather says it is going to be for the next 4 days. Oh boy...
See how cute the girls are. This is them after being outside for over 2 1/2 hours! Carlee went in the house because she had to go potty. I think she didn't want to take the time to get re-dressed so she stayed in the house and waited for us to come in.

The girls are all relaxing in their thrones! Don't they look royal??? :)

You can sort of tell how much snow we have by the amount on the table - It's a little bit deceiving because the sides of the table aren't as deep as the middle. I'm guessing we've gotten close to a foot today alone!

I have to start off this post by appologizing to everyone. If you know me you know how much I LOVE precipitation. I have been known to pray for more! :) So sorry for all the prayers. The girls have been begging to go outside to build snowmen and forts. Well, today we filled that wish... We've been outside for the last 3 hours shoveling the driveway (I only got 1/2 done in an hour and once I started to feel like I was going to throw up from the work - I stopped :)) and building snow creatings. The girls and I headed to the back yard with Madison and Reagan to start building while I was shoveling. It stared out where each girl had their own fort - then a few started to work together and in the end we all worked on one. It turned out pretty good. It even had an opening that the girls could crawl through. They each also had a "throne" to sit in. It was so fun. Now we're all in the house preparing to sip cocoa and enjoy a movie all snuggled up in blankets. As much as I HATE driving in the snow I love days like this where I can play in the snow with my girls! I hope you all drive where you need to go safely. It looks like this weather is going to stick around for a while, so good luck!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLEE!

Carlee and her "marshmallow Volcano cake" As Chlo would say
Our whole family at IHOP - Well, except me who took the picture :)
This is Jaylee's first time sitting in a high chair - let alone at a resteraunt! GO JAY!
Carlee was so excited for Grandma to come that she sat in her carseat in the entry way for over 15 minutes waiting for her!
We think Carlee knew about this suprise but she was still super excited when she got Felicity!
Yes, this is pink milk and Yogo's. Carlee's FAVORITE! I think the kid would starve if there weren't pink milk for her to consume!

I can't belive our little middle child is 4! Well, actually I can, it seems like a long time coming. Sometimes I think she's 4 going on 13... This last year has been a great one for her, she's started primary, which thanks to her most amazing teachers she's FINALLY going! She's in Dance class (which I do still have to go with her) She's in preschool which she LOVES! I couldn't have asked for a better teacher for her! Thanks Mrs. Harmon! Carlee has such an amazingly kind spirit and is willing to share anything if it means the other person is happy! She loves to help make food, wrap presents, read books, just about anything I need her to. She is such a sweet spirit in our family and quite the spit fire! :)
For her birthday this year she wanted to bring pink milk and yogo fruit snacks to her preschool class. From what her teacher said - it was a huge hit! She was able to get an American Girl doll thanks to my friend Crystal who bid on one on Ebay and won! Carlee LOVES her! I think she's changed her outfit at least 10 times! For lunch Grandma came and kidnaped her and took her to Brick Oven with Grandpa, Uncle Bean and Uncle Brian. What a treat! The boys and Grandma went with her to build a bear as well where she was able to build a cute pink bear in a wedding dress carrying a Highschool musical purse. What a girl! :) Thanks mom, dad, Bean and Brian! You truly made her day! We met Dave for dinner at IHOP where we enjoyed pancakes. Carlee got hot chocolate and burned the whole inside of her mouth because it was too hot. Oops, she cried for the whole beginning of dinner. Sorry bud!

We got home and broke out the birthday cake Chlo and I spent a lot of the afternoon making. Carlee did choose this kind of cake... Needless to say, she was the only one who had a piece and she only took 1 bite of her piece. Anyone for pink marshmallow cake??? I've got lots left over! Carlee decided to do the cute magic wands on her cake so her two sisters could share in her birthday, she let each of them pick a light up wand from off her cake. What a sister to include everyone in her special day!
Grandma and Grandpa Nelson got Carlee SKIRTS! Carlee was freaking out when she opened the gift and pulled out at least 4 skirts! Carlee's favorite! Yes Marsh, she did choose to wear the crazy, fun spotted dress to school tomorrow! She was thrilled with a barbie and tons of clothes too. Holy cow Carlee is spoiled! Thanks Grandma!
Thanks everyone for the phone calls and the visits that also helped make Carlee's day so fantastic!

We love you Carlee! Happy Birthday!

Jaylee is 6 months old!

I can't believe how fast time goes. My "little" baby is growing up so fast! She's such a fun baby and we all LOVE her like crazy. Becca was awesome and came with me to Jaylee's dr. appointment. It was so fun to have here there. I was also glad beacuse Carlee fell and hurt her back... not surprising but not easy to listen to the Dr. while she's crying. Becca was able to take her out for me. Thanks Bec! Her new stats are as follows:
Weight: 19 lbs 10 ounces 95% +
Height: 27 3/4 inches 95% +
I decided to get a few pictures of her to document her today. I stuck her under the tree - big mistake. She's too "hands on" now and actually opened one of the gifts under the tree. So funny! Dave even treated her to her first treat - licorice... As shown, she LOVED it! Hope she's not up with a tummy ache tonight. :)

We Love you Jaye!
