Thanksgiving weekend in pictures

The girls enjoying their Thanskgiving Meal.

Jaylee and her Olives...

The family Thanksgiving setup - worked great!

Mason enjoying some "before dinner pie"  SO CUTE!

Dave and I got to meet the President of BYU - Cecil Samuelson.  What a great man!  Did you know he has 3 degrees from the U???

It is always an interesting thing to be a HUGE minority at a rivalry game!  LOVED EVERY MINUTE!

Brian and Nate showing their team spirit

Finding new ways to use the flags...

The fam - warming up for the game.

Dave and I are the only Utah fans in my family.  They're so awesome to let us come to this game with them every year.  THANKS MOM AND DAD!  Love ya!

Getting warm at halftime in the Cougar Den.

Okay, so I HAD to take this picture!  Doesn't Brian look like Tim Conway or Don Knots on Apple Dumpling Gang?  LOVE IT!

Nate showing off his flag hair.

The scoreboard right before BYU's last drive.  What a spectacular game!  Would have been better if Utah could have pulled it off - still a great "edge of your seat" game.

This week has been so great!  We've been so lucky to be able to do lots of fun things! Thanksgiving with Nelson's was such a treat!  The food was amazing as was the company!  Friday we got up and spent most of the morning Christmas shopping on line.  Dave had a ball!  I think he ended up placing around 4-5 Amazon orders...  We're almost done though - YEA!  Then we were lucky enough to be invited to go with my family to see New Moon, Yes this does make 3 times for me.  What can I say, I'm a fan.  Then Dave and I got to go to dinner and shopping a bit.  Thanks for the awesome Babysitting Madison!  You're the best!  Then today we topped the whole weekend off with a chance to see the Utah vs. BYU game LIVE!  We had fantastic seats too!  Row 20 - right smack dab in the middle of the cougar club section :)  It was so fun and, can I just say, BYU fans are AWESOME!  They were so nice and we made lots of friends.  No spitting, hitting, pushing, swearing... unlike Utah fans...  Sorry Utes, you're pretty bad!  It's going to be sad to see this Holiday close, I'm just so thankful we have another one coming!  I love spending so much time with my families!  Thanks for the fun everyone!

Girls day out

The girls sporting their red and black - Chlo and Carlee even have Vampire shirts on.  Don't you think Bonden would make a good werewolf or vampire??? :)

Posing in front of the movie poster.

We three in our decked out Twilight shirts.  Gotta love it!

We girls were able to go out and FINALLY celebrate our friend's birthdays!  The Taylor girls both had birthdays this last week so we thought it would be fun to kidnap them and go to lunch and a movie.  It was SO worth it! :)  We had a blast!  Even the Taylor girls dressed in red and black for the occasion.  Yes, we did go to New Moon.  It was just as good the second time, but I have to admit it was harder to relax and enjoy with Chlo and Carlee there - I just didn't want them to get bored and disrupt others around them.  Chlo LOVED it, Carlee... not so much.  I think it was too long for her.  Towards the end she was climbing on the chairs and jumping up and down.  We still had a great time!  We even got to enjoy JCW's for lunch.  YUMMY!  Thanks Jen, Madison, Reagan and Bonden!  We'll have to do it again soon.  What a fun way to start the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Christmas time already??

The girls and I showing off our new ornaments
Chlo got a talking Scooby Doo
Carlee got a "like mother like daughter purse"
Jaylee got a group of singing dogs
I got a Minnie Mouse kissing Mickey
Dave got a Wolverine but he's the one taking the picture :)

My three most spectacular girls! :)

The girls got really good at putting the hangers on the bulbs - I got several new ones this year!

The tree.

Several weeks ago I promised the girls we could set up our Christmas tree today since we were planning on being out of town next week for Thanksgiving.  Plans changed and so now we're going to be home - this meant we could do our normal tradition of doing the tree the day after Thanksgiving.  I'm really not one to skip holidays.  The girls were LIVID!  So, as promised the girls helped me set up our tree.  Thanks to my most amazingly fun Christmas decorating classes, I think my tree looks better this year than it ever has!  Thanks Amber!  Of coarse the girls hung most of the stuff and I still have tons of "kid" type things - but I think it turned out cute - minus the part of running out of lights and garland by the time I got to the bottom of the tree... oops :)  It was so fun to spend this time with the girls and to watch Jaylee's face as the whole thing went together.  I love Christmas!

OCD

OBSESSIVE CULLEN DISORDER

Yes, we were the dorks posing in front of the cardboard cutouts after the show...

I love girls nights out :)

The dumb cutout kept falling over - I had to make sure he stayed standing up for the picture... :)

Yea, think I'm an Edward fan... Don't I look like I'm like 17??? (at least acting that way) :)

This movie TOTALLY gets two thumbs up - LOVED the ending too!  PERFECT :)

Yes, this would describe me pretty well.  I am a HUGE Twilight fan and have been for several years - I actually wanted to name Jaylee "Isabella"... Yea, obviously that wasn't agreed on :)  Anyway, my girls have the most amazing dentist ever!  It's Dr. Hans Peterson of Lehi Pediatric dentistry.  My girls actually LOVE going to his office... They ask when they can go to the dentist again.  That is a miracle in and of itself.  Not only is he a great dentist, he also lets me put my Shindyz bows in his office.  It definitly helps me!  Dr. Hans takes great care of my kids, but last night he decided to take care of us moms.  He rented out a whole theater and let us watch New Moon at 5:30!!!  Yes, that means 6 1/2 hours BEFORE the midnight release!  Oh happy day!  I was so excited to be able to go and take my BFF Mindy.  I've been getting ready for this for a few weeks - I got a vampire shirt, vampire charm bracelet, vampire necklace, even had my VERY TALENTED AWESOME friend Robyn do my crazy gorgeous makeup!  It was so nice to have a night out doing exactly what I would have done if I could have done anything - good friends, good movie, and even good food!  After enjoying the show, which by the was is SPECTACULAR, we went to Olive Garden.  Mindy and I got a few funny looks seeing as we had lightened our faces to make them pale and put on some sparkle - not to mention or dark eye makeup and crazy wild hair styles.  Overall it was one of the funnest nights I've had!  Thanks Dave for being so amazing and coming home early so I could go!
Until June 20th... :)

Jaylee and her Fleecey

Jaylee and her Fleece cape.

Dave having to replace the fleece cape after it fell down.

Jaylee enjoying her fleece cape on the floor while watching the snow fall.

Jaylee is in love with her little fleece blanket.  She can actually say the word "fleecey".  It's so cute!  One problem we have is this is the ONLY blanket that will comfort her or that she will fall asleep with.  The other night I put her to bed with her super girl fleece and she cried until it was replaced with the giraffe one...  Time to go find some more giraffe fleece to have a backup :)   Last week Dave put her fleece on her like a cape and she LOVED it!  She thought it was so much fun to walk around the house that way.  Every time it would fall off she'd run to Dave to have him fix it for her.  She's walk with her cape over to the window - plop down and watch the snow.  Glad you have something you love Jaye! :)

My little snow bunnies.

Jaylee enjoying her first snow - that she remembers :)

I took the girls to the dinosaur museum and they had a blast!

Enjoying taking a ride on the dinosaurs.

After all the drama this week we were excited to take a day to play!  I took Carlee and Jaylee to the Dinosaur museum.  It was fun to go and just take our own time.  The girls LOVED it!  It was also fun to wake up this morning to a thin blanket of snow.  The girls ran into my room this morning freaking out that it was snowing.  Carlee said she LOVED it and wanted the snow to stay forever - Chlo said she wishes it would blizzard.  Wonder how long those feelings will last :)

*As a side note- Jaylee has learned a new word.  Along with Fleece, pretty, happy, horse, puppy, Mitzy, NO, mom, dad, Lo (her version of Chlo), mama and papa and Heazy, she's now added Becca!  My SIL was so excied!  I was looking at Becca's blog and showing Jaylee her picture - she actually said her name after I did!  Now she runs into the study saying , Betta, Betta...  SO CUTE!  Her first word was officially Heazy, which is my sister!  Must be something pretty fantastic about Aunts :)

Never a dull moment with a Jaylee

Jaylee's ear after the bookshelf fell on her.

Jaylee in the hospital bed waiting for the results of her Xray.

The girls and Dave wearing masks to help prevent sickness. The girls LOVED them!

Jaylee couldn't figure out what was on Dave's face so she kept trying to pull the mask off.

So... Tonight we had our first real experience with driving to the ER.  Jaylee is one of those kids who should proabably wear a helmet daily. :)  This afternoon Jaylee was playing with an empty storage cabinet we have in our front entry way.  The cabinet tipped over on her and knocked her over flat on the tile floor - with the cabinet strategicly placed ON TOP of her.  She started screaming and I ran and threw the cabinet off of her.  She appeared fine other than both sides of her face were red.  Probably because of being squished between the tile and the cabinet.  I watched her to see if there were any signs of injury.  No vomiting, eye dialation, black under the eyes... Just screaming every time I'd pick her up under her arms.  After chatting with my BFF, Mindy, she recomended I call the doctor.  The doctor recomended we go to the ER for Xrays just to be sure she was okay.  Thus started the LONG night.  We stopped at McDonalds first to get some food for the girls then headed into the hospital.  It was so crazy to see all the stuff going on there.  We picked a busy night to visit.  Everything from burns, broken arms, strokes, stitches, internal injuries, and even a drug overdose...  We were beyond grateful to be there for the reason we were.  There was only one adult allowed in the back - so I got to go.  The doctor who helped us was very nice and quickly ruled out a head injury - lack of syptoms.  Then we headed in for her upper body Xray.  I found it interesting that we were worried about her shoulder being hurt or maybe ribs and we were holding her up by her arms to get the dang Xray...  Don't you think that would irritate the injury???  Anyway - fortunatly they found nothing.  They called it a deep tissue injury meaning she'll be sore for a few days.  I'm sure!!  We're so thankful to be home and everyone safe.  Now we'll just pray we don't get any flu type of things from being there...

Halloween festivities

Happy Halloween everyone!  This season has been quite eventful for my little famliy.  First off Jaylee decides to get croup and a sinus infection... This means screaming for 4 days with constant holding needed.  Then we got lucky enough to have Carlee get a fever on Thursday night - the night before the Halloween parties.  I got up at 2am that night to make sure she was okay - she was still high so I gave her some meds and "thought" I was going back to sleep.  Jaylee decided she wasn't tired anymore at 3am and I was up with a screaming child the rest of the night.  No idea what happened.  Finally at 6am I couldn't take it anymore so I recruited Dave to help.  He said she was acting posessed... I think it may have been the antibiotics... she's never had them before.  Needless to say, it was a long day on Friday.  The girls had a great time at their parties and looked Great!  Chlo was the bat princess, Carlee the poison princess, Jaylee was the spider princess.  I got to walk with Chlo's class in the parade and I got to watch Carlee sing and do a parade.  They were both spectacular.  By the time we were done watching Carlee, Jaylee was beyond done (Lack of sleep I'm sure) so we went home and all of us took a nap!  Needless to say, pizza was ordered and delivered Friday night.  On Monday night for FHE we decided to paint pumpkins instead of carve them - less mess and not so time consuming.  Since both girls are AMAZING artists they were thrilled!  Both pumpkins turned out great!  Jaylee was excited to try her hand at paint until she ate the paint instead of painting with it. Sort of messed up her night...  Last Sunday the girls wore the CUTEST outfits to church.  Had to take a few pictures.  Don't they look adorable???  They had lots of coments on how great they looked.  They are such great girls!  Last night for Halloween we were SO excited to have Nate and Becca join us!  I was beyond flattered they'd want to spend their holiday with us!  We had Chili and breadsticks and went trick or treating.  My girls don't usually go because we enjoy the trunk or treat - since there wasn't one - we went house to house.  It was amazing how fast it got cold.  We only made it around our circle and went home :)  The girls LOVED answering the door for trick or treaters and would throw a fit if anyone else did.  Thanks again Nate and Becca for coming!  We LOVED it!

On a side note - my brother got ENGAGED last night!  He was way cute about it and did a great job!  I'm excited to introduce my new Sister-in-law - Amber!  We love you Amber!!  These pictures were taken right after he proposed!
