Dave gives himself a haircut

Dave decided to save some money and give himself a haircut... Yikes!  After some touch up it turned out okay.  Thanks Dave for being brave and trying to save us money... :)

Thanksgiving in St. George

Thanksgiving with Jackman's this year was a blast!  We left on Tuesday afternoon to drive down to St. George.  There was a HUGE weather warning for the state of Utah so we tried to beat it.  We won... Although that storm was quite the letdown... nothing... :)  We were happy to be in St. George a little early anyway.  There are always TONS of games being played there and lots and lots of good food.  This trip was no different!
My girls LOVE LOVE LOVE the pool down there.  I was so thankful for Grandma Jackman who was always the first to volunteer to go with them.
Even Jaylee got to enjoy the pool a few times.  She loved it!
Chlo has learned to swim now so she likes to show off how she can be a mermaid.
Uncle Brian took hold of Aunt Heather's phone and decided to start randomly texting someone.  It was HILARIOUS! Brian told one of Heather's friends that he saw him at the gym.  The guy was SO confused.  It had all of us rolling.
Carlee was having fun with Big B.  He asked if she'd play with his hair.  I don't think he knew that she planned on doing pony tails in his hair.  He was a great sport.
Big B is so well rounded.  He decided to brush up on his painting skills and painted Jaylee's fingers and toes.  She was in heaven!

We took all the girls bowling for the first time too! Chloé and Carlee have been before but Jaylee has never been. It was better than Christmas for all of them.  They LOVED it.
We had such a fun group that night too.
Grandma was so awesome and helped Jaylee roll most of her balls. She actually scored one pin less than grandpa!  Way to go! :)
Chlo was so excited to get pins down she celebrated every roll!
Heather looked like a pro too!
Carlee was lucky if her ball got to the pins.  She was a "Light roller" :)
Big B showed us all up - you can see in the background that he just got a strike.  He actually has 2 bowling balls of his own not to mention a pair of his own bowling shoes.  He was so great to give us tips and tricks!
It's fun for me to catch pictures of my dad, usually he's like me and takes the pictures :)
This picture is SO classic!  Dave was so animated that night - it was cracking me up!
You can see Carlee's ball hitting the pins.  She was loving it!
I had to put this picture in because Chlo looks spectacular!  She's a super model bowler :)
Jaylee LOVED looking for her ball to come back to her.  She thought it was the coolest thing ever!
The temperature outside was a balmy 39 degrees, but the pool was at 90.  Thus the reason for the steam. It was fun but I could have handled the water a bit warmer .
Grandma was so great and had Chlo help her with the turkey.  Chlo was so excited!
This was great! The boys were playing the play station and the girls were reading stories.
Every Thanksgiving there is a James Bond marithon on TV.  It's a family tradition to watch as many as possible.  This year was no different.  I loved this picture - if you look close it looks like Jaylee and James have the same face... :)  Gotta love it!
Everyone helped make Thanksgiving dinner a success!
Nate got to carve the turkey - Becca made her marshmallow sweet potatoes.
The faces of my dear, sweet brothers are a hoot!  I have NO idea what Nate was doing... Love it!
Okay, this one is my favorite.  All three brothers were watching a barbie movie with Jaylee.  The funny thing is - it was by request of Big B. :)  Thanks Brian, Jaylee loved it!
Jaylee loves all her aunts and uncles but has a special bond with Heather.  They had so much fun this week!
Yes, the kids were out playing in the pool AGAIN... :)
Dave took the girls outside on Saturday afternoon to let them run. The temp was finally above 40!  They loved running around the pool splashing each other.  Chlo even got in with her clothes on... yea, that was way crazy!
Jaylee LOVED riding the blow up toys like horses.  She was cracking us up.
Jaylee learned this new face... She used it every time she was shy... it happened a lot this week :)
Dad was so cute and watched the girls play in the pool.  I am so lucky to have parents who are so involved with our lives.
Thanksgiving was such a wonderful thing this year.  We feel so blessed!

Another family photo shoot

Honestly there is nothing better than spending quality time with my BFF.  I was even more flattered when I was asked to do her family pictures.  The lighting was really nasty so we had to do our best with what we had.  I think we got some good ones.  She has such a cute family. We took 720 pictures so this is honestly just a small taste of what we got.

Chlo and her first trophy

This year Chlo decided to enter the reflections contest.  I was so proud of her! She even did us the honor of winning!!  She did this adorable painting of her favorite fairies.  The theme for the year was "together we can"  She said that the red fairy can make beautiful flowers but she can't make a rainbow by herself.  With all the fairies help they can make not only rainbows but make the earth beautiful and full of color.  Something like that... :)  Her paper that had the actual description on it had to be sent with the painting to the next level of competition.
Chlo did so great.  At the ceremony tonight she was the first one to present her work.  She had to show it and explain why she did what she did.  It was so cute!
This is Chlo with the principal of the school.  How cool is that - she's not even in trouble.  Mr. Martin is an amazing man - we're lucky to have him as our principal!
Way to go Chlo - you did an amazing job!  Love you!  xoxo
