Carlee had lots of fun adding things too, we were actually afraid she was going to fall into the tree.

Here's a picture of Dave adding his Spiderman to the tree.

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS

So, tonight we set up the Christmas tree! The girls LOVED it! They had so much fun taking turns putting different items on the tree. Chloé's all time favorite ornament is a Scooby Doo van with a wreath on the front. Carlee loves the bears and the gingerbread men (she liked to break off a body part of each one as she hung the cookie on the tree... you can tell which ones she helped with) Dave got a new decoration this year, a Spiderman hanging upside down. It's actually pretty cool and it goes well with the tree's red theme. Of coarse I have a very fancy red velvet shoe I like to contribute to the tree. I love traditions! We did have a little trama getting the tree moved from the middle of the family room to the actual display spot. As we were dragging our 10 foot tree it tipped and several items fell off. The girls were screaming and running around the room. I'm sure it was quite commical seeing me and Dave hanging on to the tree for dear life. It did end well and the tree is up and all involved are safe :) What a fun start to the holiday season!

Dave and Chlo wanted to find a way to display all the super hero figures we have, this is one of the ideas they came up with this weekend. Both of them had a blast putting it together! Who would have thought Chlo would have liked GI Joe???

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, this week was totally crazy and wonderful at the same time! It was filled with lots of family, food and fun! We got to spend Thanskgiving day with the Nelson's. They are SO much fun and the food was divine!! Friday we were able to go to the Glauser family service project up in Ogden. It was fun to kick off the holiday season with a bit of service for others! It didn't hurt that the company was grand and the food was just as good! Saturday, Dave and I were able to go to the Utah vs. BYU game with my parents and Brian and Hez. It was crazy to be invited into the cougar club tent for food and entertainment. I honestly have to admit they had the best beef and turkey I've ever had in my life! It was amazing! As for the game... Well, next year is Utah's year! It was a great game though and the company was fun. Our seats were pretty much right on the 50 yard line and we were 26 rows up! It was quite the experience! We couldn't have done the game if it weren't for the amazing talents of Nate and Becca! They are honstly the best people ever!!! They watched Chlo and Carlee for us so we could go enjoy a day out! How did I get so lucky??? :)

Well, I'd better get off to bed so I can possibly have some energy for the week to come!

First Kiss

Holy cow, am I computer literate??

There have been several requests for us to start our own blog, so I guess here it is. I am a total camera freak and this may be a great way to share the fun.

This last week has been totally insaine! Dave has been super crazy with his new job - he truly loves what he does! It's exciting to see him learn and grow more and more every day. It does mean though that he works several 10-12 hour shifts. I'm just glad he loves it and enjoys going to work. It truly is a blessing!
The girls have been beyond loving the Halloween season. I don't know how many times they've put on their costumes. I think because of that by the time the official "Halloween trick-or-treating" came, neither one of them wanted to dress up or even go... Dave and I lucked out though because they offered to answer the door and hand out candy to the other trick-or-treaters. We also had the pleasure of having Nate, Becca and Brian with us for dinner that night. Of coarse we had Chili and rolls. Becca came over early to help prep the food. It was SO much fun to have her over. The girls admire her and look up to her quite a bit!

The night before we had our ward "trunk-or-treat". The girls LOVED that! Carlee showed me her bag and said, "Mom, look at all my yummy treats!". It's a great way to get a ton of candy for the kids in a very short amount of time. That's my kind of Halloween!

Carlee decided she wanted to take the next step in her life and got married this last Saturday... She married a very nice young 3 year old neighbor named Bondon Taylor. Bondon's sisters and Chloé were more than happy to help in the festivities. They provided flowers and even helped the happy couple in their first dance. The pictures speak a thousand words. :) Kids are just so blasted fun and creative.
Well, hopefully I'll be able to figure out this whole blog thing. It will be a fun thing for me if I can :)

Everyone have a fantastic Monday!
