Traditions

Every year we have the tradition of setting up our Christmas decorations on the day after Thanksgiving.  This year was no different.  The girls had a countdown going on when the tree was going up.  We also let the girls pick an ornament which will represent them for the year.  Carlee has a Sleeping Beauty, Chlo has Jasmine and Jaylee has Jessie with Bullseye.  It was such a fun day!  We got done pretty fast with the help of all of us and the tree looks amazing.  I am so thankful for girls who get into the holidays as much as I do.  Merry Christmas everyone!

Breaking Dawn

Once again Mindy and I were able to go to the newest Twilight movie on opening night.  It was SO much fun.  Of coarse we had to wear Twilight gear :)  The movie was my personal favorite out of all of them yet!  After we went to dinner at Applebees.  It was super yummy.  The crazy part was we got a HUGE snow storm that night!  What are the odds??  We haven't seen snow really all season...  It was a crazy drive home but well worth the trip. :)

Reflecions contest 2011

 This year's reflection contest was just as exciting as last year, with one little difference - Carlee won for her category in her age group!  We were so excited! She did a fantastic job!  The theme was Diversity.  Carlee said "Some people may say day is more beautifuller than night but night is just as beautiful as day".  I guess they liked it!  She got a trophy and everything.  Way to go Carlee!

Chlo got an honorary mention for her project.  She did this spectacular doll representing her being a diabetic.  Honestly, we were all surprised she didn't win.  We'll take the honorary mention!

We're so proud of our girls and their willingness to participate in this stuff!  Way to go girls! xoxo
