Some day her prince will come - and his name was Rob

The bride with my girls - they thought she looked like a princess - which she does!
I had to add in this picture of Rob - he thought his shoes were pretty goofy :)
OH!!! This is one of the only times you can kiss in public and people aren't getting all freaked out by it! :)
OH the BFF's from highschool!!! I love this picture - these girls have meant more to me than they'll EVER know! Love you girls!
Aren't they SO cute?!?!

Today was such an amazing day for me! I was able to attend one of my BFF from high school's wedding. I am so excited for her! She's had it pretty tough since high school and has had her fair share of trials. I've seen her go through things no one should ever have to. It seems at this point she's really pulled herself out of the dark. Today my buddy Kirsten Nichols became Kirsten Halcrow. After several years of super bad relationships she found her prince charming. The best part about it is it's one of our other friend from high school's brother! Go Sarah! It was so great to watch Kirsten look into Rob's eyes and vice versa. They look so happy and so in love! Chlo and Carlee were able to go with me and I think they both thought it would be the wedding march and Kirsten walking down the isle. They both did love the "kiss" at the end though. Kirsten had yellow tulips and pussy willows for her center pieces. The girls LOVED LOVED LOVED they pussy willows! The kept talking about how soft and cute they were. It was fun to introduce the girls to my old high school buddies and to my sister Julie's "first kiss" guy. (*Julie- they cracked up meeting Dave :) ) I was also able to connect with my other BFF from high school Alyssa. Lyss - it was SO SO SO great to see you again! It's amazing how even after all these years we're able to pick up right where we left off. I was truly blessed to have such amazing friends back in the "good ol' days". Thanks for all the memories and congratulations Kirsten and Rob - I wish you all the happiness life has to offer!

Let the messes begin!

My life just got a little more crazy!

Yes, I'm the crazy mom who's taking the pictures of the kid while telling her to stop... mixed signals??? :)
Jaylee LOVES Mitzy - huh, maybe we can have Jaylee sleep here with the dog...
We went to the park on Monday (wait - can't be Monday - it was snowing on Monday... Maybe it was Friday...) and had a blast! The girls were so cute I just had to snap a few shots.
This is Jaylee's first experience with shorts... She looked adorable! Chlo was so great to take Jaylee down the slide for the first time this season. Thanks for being great sisters Chlo and Carlee!

There isn't enough good I can say about all three of my beautiful girls. They are all three kind and good. For the most part they're obedient and do what they're told (with the exception of bedtime) Life has been pretty good from that aspect... Then all that changed... Jaylee has decided she wants to be like her big sisters and move freely around the house. It has seemed to be a slow process for her to learn to crawl. One of the biggest steps forward she had was on my birthday when my friend, Crystal, got me this cute velvet clutch purse. Jaylee wanted it bad and actually crawled across the room for it. Crystal says it's because she's like me and is drawn to high fashion :) Since then it's been a continuous jump from day to day. She's finally had a taste of the "outside world" and wants more and more. In the last two days she's emptied the bottom shelf of our DVD collection - pulled out books off the bookshelf, played in Mitzy's kennel and in her food (very nasty seeing as everything she touches goes in her mouth...) she's even attempted to pull herself up onto the first stair. HOLY COW! I totally forgot what it's like having a mobile child who doesn't understand stuff. It makes me laugh but keeps me on my toes. Yesterday I actually couldn't find her... she had snuck down the hall and was in the girl's room playing in their doll clothes! She truly wants to be like her big sisters. We are entering a new time in Jaylee's life and a very exciting - never a dull moment period too! I'm just glad I have such good helpers! Thanks Chlo and Carlee!

Happy St. Patrick's day and Jaylee's 9 month appointment

Yesterday's weather was just so spectacular we had to enjoy it. All of us girls decided to spend the afternoon outside running around, riding bikes, and coloring with chalk on the sidewalk. It was only like 65 degrees - but it felt wonderful! Chlo said it was hot enough to swim... Thus the reason the swimsuits came out. No water was turned on though. The girls had so much fun running back and forth on the lawn and doing different silly things too like skipping, jumping like a frog, hopping and lots more. Jaylee loved being outside too -the hard part about her is keeping the grass and dirt out of her mouth!
On Monday we had Jaylee's 9 month appointment. I forgot how this one is so easy! No shots just a little prick for a blood sample. Jaylee did awesome for that and didn't even flinch but when the doctor went to look in her ears she had a FREAK OUT! She was screaming so hard her face was red almost purple! We made it though :) Her stats were crazy too - 22.2 pounds (95%) 28 3/4 inches tall (90%). I'm glad she's growing and so healthy. She's crawling better and better every day and is getting to the point she likes table food better than baby food, not that I blame her. She loves to smile and will smile at almost anyone. The girls say she likes to say "dad" when she's happy and "mom" when she's sad... huh, how did that work out? She is a truly amazing baby and we're blessed to have her in our lives!

Baby Bailey

HOUSTON

This was the final leg of our little Houston journey. It was a nightmare though - our plane was late and the flight attendant lady was psyco! She kept getting on the speaker while we were waiting in the terminal telling all sorts of false info - like there was not enough room for everyone on the plane so some people had to choose to go later - then they said the plane was too heavy and some random luggage would be left in Houston and sent out on a later flight... then we got on the plane and still couldn't leave... Poor Jaylee was beyond tired at this point. I should have been home last night around 9:30 but didn't get home until after 11... It was well worth it though - Houston is AMAZING! Jaylee really did do acceptionally well on the flight. She was totally a statue as we took off and she watched out the window. She thought it was so cool! She did the same thing when we landed and she got to watch all the city lights.

*I have to explain the star on my forehead. Dave and Julie always set goals to challenge themselves and each other. They earn stars for lots of things - eating healthy, working out, scripture study, reading books and lots more. All week I tried to earn a star from Dave - FINALLY on Sunday he issued me my first star! I got the star for helping finish off all the candy in the house :) Yes- that's really sad reason for getting a star - but I'll take it :) Thanks Dave!
My mom was SO great with Jaylee this last week (well, she always is) All week she was trying to get Jaylee to say "grandma", she didn't quite get out grandma, she did get out bah bah... Close enough! Way to go Jaylee!
This is what the two girls looked like in the back of the car. They had a blast playing with each other and each other's toys :) They did spend quite a bit of time here. Thank goodness they're good kids!
This was Sunday after Church. The girls looked so cute so we had to snap some pictures.
This is my sister and her sweet family! Love you guys!

I had to add this picture of Dave with Bailey. He is such an amazing dad! He'll change diapers -get her ready to go places - feed her - play with her... She's super lucky! :)
Jaylee looked so cute before we went to church so I had to get a picture. Church was really fun in Julie's ward and really different. They forgot to bring bread for the sacrament so we had to take the sacrament at the end of the meeting - then the first speaker forgot she had to speak but ended up giving a powerful testimony. I also go to go to YW since my sister is the YW president down there. It was fun to see her cute girls (even though there were only 7 total!).
Chloé had one request - that was for me to take a picture of Julie's back yard... Here you go Chlo - this is Julie stainding by her cute garden in her back yard - notice she has PALM TREES there! How fun :)

This car totally cracked me up. It was in front of the game store we went to. The funny thing is the store had a worker who looked EXACTLY like Santa... I'm pretty sure this is his car. :)

I had a hard time thinking of what to bring home to Dave - Julie's Dave had the great idea to look for something in this comic book/game/toy store. It was PERFECT! I found him some new things for his collection. Thanks for the great idea BIL Dave!
Okay - so my sister and her hubby are SO SO SO creative! For my birthday they got me a cake from Baskin Robins - you know - they're known for their 31 flavors of ice cream... huh, sort of fun since I turned 31 this year. The night we celebrated Dave's cousin John was over there - small world because his birthday was the same as mine!!! BIL Dave's birthday is on the 20th so the cake worked great! Thanks guys!
So my BIL Dave is awesome! He made us homeade Beans and Rice - I think he said it was Brazilian style. YUM!!! Everything in it was fresh. He was amazing too - he'd do the dishes make the meals and still have time to play games with us. I already asked if I could take him home with me. :)

Dave borroed Julie's toe socks to help a sore toe he had. Bailey thought it loked yummy so she tried to take a bite. SO CUTE!
Even though it was cold we decided to take a walk anyway. Julie's neighborhood is beautiful! This is a picture of the front of her house.
Jaylee LOVED LOVED LOVED the ducks we saw on our walk. It was hillarious to watch her start chatting to them. :)
This is the little man made pond by her house (where the ducks were) What a beautiful place!
Mom was great and treated us all to dinner. I had our waitress take our picture - she was quite different and liked to talk to Jaylee inches away from her face. It actually really freaked Jaylee out and she'd cry whenever she'd see the waitress :)
This was Jaylee checking out all the options at the resteraunt.

Julie had way too much fun feeding Jaylee. Julie though it was hillarious that Jaylee's snacks would stick to her face. Julie said "the mom might as well have fun too". Very good point!
Isn't she SO SO SO cute! Bailey was doing better and better sitting up while we were there. She was just so stinkin fun I had to keep playing with her! She's an amazing baby too! She wakes up around 7- 7:30 and Julie feeds her. They play for a little bit and give her a bath- they read stories and she's down for a nap by 9. She'll sleep until noon - wake up - play for a bit - eat and she's back down again for an afternoon nap! (yes, this is a dream baby :) ) She goes to bed at 7 and sleeps all night. Funny thing is I don't think I EVER heard her cry when she woke up. Julie would just go check on her to see if she was awake or not... Nice huh?
Julie wanted to try to feed Jaylee since feeding Bailey has been a challenge. Julie said it was much easier feeding Jaylee but my mom says she's a moving target - she NEVER holds still so she ends up with stuff all over her face :)
I brought Bailey some of these little food holder things. She LOVED bananas! It was funny watching her get frustrated when it was empty!
Jaylee and Bailey had a great time together. Jaylee LOVED having another little person to hang out with!
This is us at the Houston Airport. WE MADE IT! :)
Jaylee LOVED sitting on the tray table on the airplane - it was cute to watch all the people around us playing with her too - she was the hit of the plane! Since this trip she's learned to eat whole cheerios and puff treats - she can even pick them up with her finger and thumb! Go Jay!
This is Grandma and Jaylee at the SLC airport while we're waiting to go to Houston.
Houston was such an amazing experience for me. I was so excited to be able to go. I didn't realize how much I missed my amazing sister! She is truly a dream and I won't ever forget these few precious days I had to spend with her and her adorable family. It was great to get away and spend some good quality girl time. Jaylee was awesome during the day - but just moaned at night keeping me up most of the night - CRAZY KID! We got to play games (my favorite was a game called guiateen - I know that's not spelled right - dang!), watch movies (Madagascar 2) I even got to watch a few minutes of the Utah vs. Wyoming basketball game with my BIL. My team won! :) I even found out Utah took first in the Mtn West tournament. Nice - they did great in Bball and football! Ching Ching! I got a birthday cake and amazing food too. We went shopping and I got some AMAZING jewelry and some fun things for the girls. We chatted in our PJ's and didn't get ready until after noon one day. We laughed one night so hard we were all in tears! I will remember this trip forever and I'm so thankful for Dave that he'd be so good to watch the girls for me so I could go! The girls said they watched lots of movies and showed me their happy meal toy collection! :) They had a great time and said they really liked spending time with Dad. Thanks to mom and dad for the amazing birthday gift and giving me the opportunity to spend some time with my sweet sister and mom!
Thanks Dave, Julie and Bailey for being a great host and hostesses - your house is amazing but your company is better! Love you guys so much!

Today Dave and I have officially been married for 9 years. It's amazing how fast time goes. Thanks for all the memories and wonderful additions to my life! XOXO
The pictures are just a few of the highlights of the fun things we've been able to do. Some of the older ones have been scanned so they're not very clear. Still shows how much Dave and I have changed. Wow!
