For my grandma's 80th birthday she decided she wanted to do a temple session with as many of her family memebers as possible. We had quite the group. The picture here doesn't show everyone who came - some left early to get the rest of their kids to meet us for lunch later. It was such an amazing experience to be in the temple with so much of my family! My grandma was all a glow! She looked around and said, "this is going to be one of those days I'll remember forever". It was so special to be a part of her day!
My parent's were married in the Ogden temple 35 years ago this year. They're closing the temple for renovations - so this is the last time they'll see it the way it was when they were married. I was SO TICKED that dumb blue car was in the back. We should have probably waited until it left...
Dave was so nice and stayed home with the girls so I could go to this with my family. I rode up with my dad and Brian. It was cute hearing dad talk about the things he remembered about his wedding day - he said he drove alone to the temple while mom rode with her parents. Mom spent the night with her mom and sisters the night before Grandma's birthday to have a little slumber party - so dad said he almost felt the same way he did on his wedding day. I guess on their wedding day they both stopped at the same stop light and dad said he felt wierd and nervous because he's not supposed to see the bride before the wedding :) So cute!
Brian has a goal this year to go to every major temple in Utah. He definitly checked this one off! :)
My grandparent's are the cutest people ever! They are still so cute together and you can see the love they have for eachother in their eyes. Grandpa tried to plan this day for Grandma, he said he was so stressed about the whole thing he hasn't slept for 2 weeks. He was thrilled with the turn out and made the coment that he's excited to sleep again :)
This picture is going in a frame for sure!!! I'm super proud of this one :) There was actually a group of YW going by while I was taking this picture - they were ooing and awing at how cute my grandparent's were. They said, "they even kiss cute"! And this they do!
After the temple we met at Chuckarama for lunch. It was a great place for a big family to sit and eat while making messes and being loud! :) It was fun to catch up with everyone and see all these babies I haven't met yet. I can't belive how big this family has gotten. I love it!
Happy birthday Granmda! I hope it has been an amazing day for you! I will also never forget this day! Thank you for letting me be a part of your life! Love you! xoxo
