Circus

Last night we were able to go the the Circus.  Oddly enough it was a first for all of us.
Yes, I am having rotating issues again...  My cute SIL took this picture for us.  We were able to go with the whole Nelson family!  It was SO great!
Carlee fell and split her lip... Poor kid. :)  I do love Chlo's face in this picture!
Jaylee was TOTALLY freaked out by the clowns but as soon as she saw the animals she was clapping and giggling.  The puppy and elephants were her favorite.  She LOVED sharing popcorn with Papa Nelson and licorice with cousin Paige.  She didn't like the cotton candy though...
The girls wanted to get cotton candy for their treat and for a small fee of $12!!!  You can get some with a fancy hat too...  I hope the cotton candy was good. :)
Carlee looked SO cute in this hat I had to take a picture.  I tried to get the circus lights in the back.  I can tell I'm not using my super awesome fancy camera... :)
This was Carlee when we got home.  She was TOTALLY out!  I was able to go in the house and come back out to take this picture.  Poor thing.  We had so much fun and when Jaylee got up this morning she said she wanted Grandma Marsh.  I'm so happy the girls are getting to spend time with the family!  Thanks guys!

40's inspired

I am a total Halloween FREAK!!!  The girls and I have been looking at Halloween costumes for at least 4 months.  I know, I'm crazy!  There is just something to be said about a fun costume.  So this year my costume is inspired by the 1940's.  I've been watching a lot of Youtube video's on how to do my hair.  Pin curls was one of the things I learned how to do.  Jaylee and Chlo were kind enough to let me try it out on them.  This is Jaylee's hair all done up and in a hair net.  I should have taken the picture without the hairnet - it looked cooler :)  And the dumb picture won't flip!  Dumb thing :)
Here is what the girls looked like for church last week.  Carlee has a hard time having things in her hair so we just did some brades in hers.  They all looked so cute!

Check out these cutie pattooties :)  Love their guts! :)

St. George

We just love spending time in St. George.  This weekend was no exception.  Even though the pool water wasn't heated - the girls had a blast!
Chlo continued to swim like a fish!
I have NO idea what's up with the new blog format but I really don't like it.  For some reason I can't post vertical pictures without it freaking out... dumb thing! I love this picture of Jaylee, so even though it's the wrong direction I had to add it :)
On Sunday Carlee and Chlo were making these amazing playdough sculptures.  I was SHOCKED at how well Carlee's pig turned out.  I have such talented kids :)
Chlo had to use some of each color :)
We attempted church on Sunday but there was stake conference going on.  We decided to spend our time at the St. George temple instead.  It was great!
While we were in the visitor's center a Sr. Missionary came and talked to the girls.  He gave them each a picture of the temple and asked them to promise to stay worthy to go inside someday.  The girls were so excited and eagerly promised. :)
The girls loved the water fall at the temple. Carlee is up top.  Goof balls :)
This picture was so cute of my little family. :)
Dave has a work friend who told us about this 3-D golf place.  The girls though it was the coolest thing ever!
Jaylee was pretty freaked out for a while - but she adjusted. :)
The girls loved seeing what each new hole would bring.  With the glasses on the spiderman on the wall looked like he was jumping out of the wall right at you.  Pretty cool!
Huh, wonder why this was my favorite hole :)

We had a great time just taking a break from reality for a few days.  We even pulled the girls out of school a little early to get more time.  I'm so thankful I have this kind of experience to share with my family!

Baptism dress photo shoot

Today after a fantastic family dinner with Jackman's we took Chlo to the park across the street from the Timp. Temple and I took a few pictures, well 404... Yea, I'm crazy!  Anyway, below are a few of my favorites.  Boy, do I have a good looking daughter or what???  Love you Chlo!
I figured I'd throw in a few of the others since they were actually there at the photo shoot :)
Okay, funny story.  Carlee has this nasty burn mark on her chin because when  I made cookies earlier this week she wanted to smell them and got too close to the hot pan.  Poor Carlee. :)
Thank you Dave, for entertaining Carlee and Jaylee while I took pictures!
They were having a great time - Carlee actaully said she wished she lived there. :)
Jaylee was just happy to run!
Getting rides from dad is always a good thing!
