Being a mom is such a blessing in so many ways, yesterday I was shown just another reason why I LOVE being a mom. Chloé came home from school and as usual she and Carlee started playing. The two are really almost inseperable, they play really well and love to be together (another perk to my wonderful kids). Anyway, Chlo found a primary picture packet and decided she and Carlee should play "primary". Chlo was the teacher and started showing Carlee all these pictures and telling her stories. It was amazing! Chlo is so smart and loves to talk about Jesus. She remembers so many stories and describes them so well to Carlee. Last night she even did our FHE lesson. She told the story about Jesus and how he came to earth and died for us so we could live with him again. It was so beyond amazing that she could bring such an awesome spirit to the lesson. Dave and I were both super impressed. She said her favorite story was the story of Jesus being born but she also loves the story of Daniel and the Lion's den. Thanks to her Uncle Nate, who reminded her a few FHE lessons ago, she told us the whole story of Daniel, even including the part where he prayed and Heavenly Father closed the mouths of the lions. Thanks Nate! Great lesson :) Dave asked Carlee if the lions ate Daniel or if he was safe, Carlee said the lions ate him... huh, a little work there. Even so, it's great to see the girls having a desire to learn such important things so young. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing family! Truly a blessing from heaven!
